Why we exist

Our story

In 2015, our founder, Dani Pereira, and his family migrated from Venezuela in search of safety and a better future. At just 15 years old, he arrived in a new country filled with uncertainty but driven by dreams and the unwavering support of his parents. Determined to succeed, he learned a new language, excelled in school, and never lost sight of his passion—playing soccer.

Through resilience and perseverance, Dani earned a scholarship to play soccer at Virginia Tech. By the end of 2020, his talent and dedication led to an invitation to the 2021 MLS SuperDraft as a Generation Adidas athlete. Then, on January 21, 2021, history was made—Dani Pereira was selected as the #1 overall pick in the 2021 MLS SuperDraft, becoming the first South American and the first Venezuelan to be chosen as the top pick in any draft across all sports disciplines. None of this would have been possible without the support of his family, friends, coaches and the community.

Now, Dani wants to give back. He is committed to supporting and motivating young athletes, helping them succeed in both, education and sports.

We support underserved communities by helping students and their families navigate the educational system, providing one-on-one college readiness mentoring, and connecting them with academic, athletic, and professional opportunities that help them pursue higher education.

The 1st Touch:

Scholarships

Our goal is to boost an athlete’s exposure and enhance their chances of earning higher education scholarships by facilitating participation in tournaments and integration into top-tier academies.

The 2nd Touch:

Gap Filling

Scholarships often fall short of covering all the costs. For athletes on academy teams, expenses like shoes, uniforms, travel fees, and accommodations can add up quickly. This program bridges those gaps, ensuring athletes have the support they need to participate in tournaments.
